Bio:
Jeffrey Scot Hicks grew up in Charlotte, NC and studied technical drawing in high school.  He then studied printmaking and drawing at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and later received the Master of Fine Arts degree from Winthrop University.  After numerous adjunct teaching appointments he accepted a professorship at the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2001.  There he serves as Professor of Foundation Studies, teaching Drawing, Design and Color Theory.  Since 2006 he also has served as Coordinator of the annual Foundation Studies Portfolio Award Exhibition.  His work is included in corporate collections and numerous private collections.
